So you're not an artist? Great - you're in good company!
We hear it all the time. "I can’t do this business because I'm not an artist." Well I'll let you in on a little secret - you absolutely can do this business and the best part is you do NOT have to be an artist. Thankfully we have some awesome artists on our team who provide artwork for our Gallery, but most of us are not artists. We're just here for the party!
My background is in construction and before I started my Artsy business I hadn’t picked up a paint brush since elementary school. In college I paid a friend a 12-pack to do my final art project. Seriously, anyone can do this business! My first year I did 96 events and I continue to receive referrals and repeat customers. Why? Because this business isn't about the painting, it's about the party!
We can teach you how to paint. That is the easy part. We can’t teach you to be nice, or caring, or funny, or likeable. But if you have those characteristics, trust me - the painting will be easy!
Seriously, if you can read then you can do this business. We have a Gallery of over 400 artwork selections each with step-by-step instructions that teach you how to break the painting down into simple shapes and instruct it. And if you need additional help you always have the support of the Artsy team and coaches to help you out!
